ONE AND ALL
From the
battlefields
long ago,
to the
battlefields
of today-
Let us
remember them,
One and All,
and the
extravagances
of prices paid
Jungles thick
to barren
deserts,
torrential
rains or in
bone dry
sands-
They enforce
the Right for
Freedom,
for every
woman, child
and man
Their blood
has stained
our prairies,
and flooded
far distant
shores-
Their
dedication of
bravery,
honors us,
and will,
forevermore
When 'Ol Glory
drapes their
Brothers,
and the bugles
echoes through
the air-
They wipe
their tears
with courage,
while reciting
the Lord's
Prayer
They are
warriors of
constant
struggle,
knowing every
step takes
them deeper
still-
Through
valleys low,
and mountains
high-
from Iraq to
Bunker Hill
They are the
forefront of a
nation strong,
America's
proud and
true-
Let's remember
them, One and
All,
and the
sacrifices
they've made
for you
