I just returned from being in Africa for over one month and ministered the word of God and the Lord healed, delivered, crippled walked, deaf heard, blind saw, as He ministered to His people through this broken vessel. I have 7 ministers from Africa coming to my farm in Iowa and God is starting His ministry here. I ask your prayers for His perfect will. I believe the farm is a place where ministers from all over the world will come and be refreshed in teh Lord, impart and be imparted to and be baptized afresh with the fire of the Holy Ghost. Halleluia! Your sight surely has blessed me and I will be sharing it with my African brothers and sisters. Any word from the Lord He gives you, please feel free tominister it to me. God bless you and I pray open the heavens over you and your family and your ministry in Jesus name and may He bless you exceeding, abundantly above and beyond what you could ever imagine. God bless you Sister Barbara

God Bless You, Bob, during 2004 - Keep on a writin' a little bit more - I've written like you, for so many years - But kept it all hidden, 'suppose out of fear - Then I saw your web site, and now have courage - To recognized that I, should not be discouraged - For My Lord and My Savior, still wants me to write - Just 'cause I'm pushin' 60, don't mean an end of my life - So with that in mind, I'll continue to pray - For His guidance and direction, that's all I'm gonna say!

Dear Texas Bob! Hurrah!!! I just spent an hour when I should have been editing my book or cleaning out my files on our patriotic writings page!!! I bleed red, white and blue as the daughter of a retired, now deceased Navy Officer (WWII), the widow of an Army Officer (Sept 18, 1965 - I was 22 yrs old and our children 3 1/2 and 6 mos), and the wife of a retired Army Officer (VN 1964 -1965 MACV Advisor). Some of the 'boys' at the VFW laugh and say I have more years 'in' than all of them put together. True, I went to 13 schools, and even the college I chose was military for boys - North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Ga - where I lasted less than a year before I eloped with my 'cadet'. We looked forward to his commissioning more than graduation, and after completing Airborne and Ranger (3rd in his class) Schools, he was killed while training young men to survive in Vietnam. No, he never made it himself, but many lived because of his training, and the honors heaped on him by everyone from General to Private have amazed me. But me, I stuck my foot right back in the door and still bleed red, white and blue! Diane Stark McConnell Sanfilippo

Oh boy did this ever bring back memories. I can just picture those burma shave signs in my mind as we whizzed past them at a hot 45 or 50 mph. And the cars, I don't see how any of the newbies can compare with the styles and lines of yesteryear. A great site and I really enjoyed it tremendously.

There is so much profanity on the web anymore, it's nice to find another good site sending out not only a good message but the most important message of all. God does love us, some people don't even realize what all he has sacrificed for us and are blind to the truth. Thankyou for puting a smile on my face and reminding me that God must be smiling as well. Keep up the good work, your sending out a great message and God will remember that and hopefully some of your visitors here on the web.

A SOLDIERS MOTHER'S PRAYER Please protect my Son, Lord He's the only one I have Please don't let me lose him Like I already lost his dad. ========== His Daddy went to Viet Nam Thirty some odd years ago He looked so handsome all dressed up In the pictures that we'd show. =========== The letters came sporadically When he first got there, Lord He told me how much he loved me and how he'd make us proud. ========= Then I told him about our son, Lord About how he was gonna be a dad The letters came more regular then The waiting wasn't so bad. ========= I watched the news most every night To see if by some quirk of fate Out of the thousands over there I just might see his face. ========== He wrote of a Viet holiday Coming up, that they called "Tet" About how things were, "kinda quiet now" But that it hadn't started yet. ========== They told about it on the news But they didn't say how bad The body count was gonna be For our Brothers, Sons and Dads. =========== You took him Lord, that fateful day In a battle they say we won All I ask tonight, Lord Is, please don't take his Son. ========== Copyright©2003 Adrain Desaire

What a beautiful poem about the Train of Life! I am forwarding this to a very close friend who is in her 30's and was just recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. I am praying that she never gives up hope and continues to fight the good fight. She has two beautiful young girls who need her. Her name is Leah.

Yes! the cars and Burma Shave signs are fun! I think I learned to read them on the road from Marathon to San Antonio, going WWII speed limit of 35 mph. Dad drove a '36 through war times, traded for a '46 Lincoln Zephyr that stayed tuned about 200 miles at a time -- those 12 cylinders were murder!
