Inspirational and draws ones attention to the real meaning of Christmas. How unfortunate it is to have so many people in our country that have turned their back on Jesus Christ. They are attempting to undermine our traditional values and the basic foundation our country is built upon. Pray for them, for they know not what they do.

WHAT A TERRIFIC STORY, WE HAVE OUR OWN. AS IN 1971, MY HUSBAND AND I WERE NEWLY WEDS. AND DID NOT HAVE MONEY FOR WRAPPING PAPER, SO WE WRAPPED EVERYTHING IN "BROWN PAPER BAGS". SO EVERY CHRISTMAS SINCE.. 33.. WE HAVE GIVEN EACH OTHER A GIFT WRAPPED IN BROWN PAPER.. NOW OUR GIRLS, 20 AND 26,, GIVE GIFTS TO EACH OTHER AND TO US WRAPPED IN BROWN PAPER. TO US IT REPRESENTS A TIME WHEN WE HAD EACH OTHER AND OUR LOVE AND OUR GOD AND THAT WAS ENOUGH TO MAKE US MORE THAN HAPPY. AND WE SHARED THAT WITH OUR CHILDREN AND TODAY THEY ARE HAPPY PRODUCTIVE INDIVIDUALS OF WHOM WE ARE MOST GRATEFUL.. THANK YOU FOR THIS MESSAGE. BARBARA

Good Morning it is Christmas Eve and I just wanted to say Thankyou for your kind heart. I recently joined your site and this mornings mail was very nice to read. It is so aggravating to use the internet anymore due to spam and I appreciate all efforts made to make it a better place to surf and not get bombarded with garbage. We recently moved here from Anchorage Alaska and this stuff isn't on the service providers networks as bad as it is out here. We get spam but nothing like here in Florida. Take care and God Bless you are doing a wonderful thing here. Juli and family jgetz66

It is almost impossible to say in words how much I appreciate these "messages" -yes even at my age of 70 I do shed tears at most of the stories and have to wipe my eyes to continue reading. Having been single for so many years this season is always hard for me, as I wish I had that special woman to share my live and the season. I know with Jesus all things are possible. Let me add that I print most of your "messages" and put them in the break room at Wal-Mart where I work part time. Wal-Mart needs this as they are slowly forgetting our Lord Jesus. I love all the Christmas pages you have sent this year. But had to let you know this one is special. I sent it on to a LOT of my friends and family. I know they will enjoy it as much as I did. It brought tears to my eyes, I lost my dad when I was young so I sort of relate to how the little boy felt. God bless you always. Keep up the great work. ~ Ruth

Texas Bob - This was an enjoyable trip back to my younger days. I will come back, to read more. What an imagination - sprinkled with truth, as I understand all good Texas stories are. Keep up the good work, it might just inspire me to write a few of my own stories, like Grandpa used to tell. I'll sign later when I read a few more!

I just finished reading "The Old Gas Station" that was forwarded to me from a former coworker. I saw myself in this old man, as it is December 16th and I have not put up a Christmas tree, baked cookies, strung lights, or anything that I used to love doing for the holiday season. I have sent cards and shopped. I used to decorate for every season and enjoyed doing it very much. Two years ago my mom became ill and died just 3 months later and since then I don't have the gumption to decorate. It bothers me that become like this, but I can't help it. So, as I sit here with tears running down my face from reading this story and writing a comment, I realize that it doesn't really matter if I/we put up trees and decorations or bake cookies. As long as we celebrate Christmas in our hearts, minds and souls and don't forget our family, friends, enemies and neighbors at Christmas ( and all year), we are celebrating after all. And that's what it's all about, right? Thank you for the inspiration. God Bless and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you!!!!

A dear friend just sent me, "The Sands of Christmas." I have to tell you, I think the pages you do to honor our Hero's in the military are amazing. This one had special meaning because my baby brother has been re-deployed and leaves tomorrow for Bahrain. He wasn't home last year for Christmas, and he won't be this year either. These kids, and most of them ARE just kids, give and give, and then are asked to give more. They do so without question, not for themselves, or even their families, but for others. We must all keep these men and women in our thoughts and prayers and remember the sacrifices they are making so that we and others may enjoy this holiday season. Believe me, THEY ARE NOT ! MAY GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, YOU BOB AND YOUR FAMILY, AND US ALL ! Joan Sanders

It covers one side of a difference-of-opinion very well. It's too bad that our White House personnel had to lie to America in order to kill Iraqis. It's too bad that we had to pull troops away from hunting for the 9-11 perpetrators that are lead by the Bush family friend Osama bin Laden. It's too bad that our country didn't care to abide by the Geneva Convention by the leaders, out of harms way in the White House. Those in harms way will pay the price if anyone does.

YOU ARE DOING A TREMENDOUS JOB. I APPRECIATE YOUR WRITINGS SO MUCH. MOST OF THEM ARE REALLY UPLIFTING AND SOME OF THEM ARE SOUL SEARCHING. WE ALL NEED THIS FROM TIME TO TIME TO KEEP US ON OUR TOES FOR THE LORD AND LIVING CLOSER TO HIM EACH DAY. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND SETTLE CONVICTION ON SATAN'S DEMONS WHO TRY TO DESTROY THE WORK OF THOSE WHO ARE SERVING OUR WONDERFUL GOD.

Hello Texas Bob, I read what was written about, "What is a" Vietnam Veteran". I am a Vietnam veteran of two tours in Vietnam and while reading this message, cried all the way through. Everything that was written is correct and I feel it within me. I came back from Vietnam very angry and sad, and have not yet been able to get anyone to listen to me about Vietnam as I still carry a lot of anger. Vietnam Vets are the only people that I know today that care and listen to me. I tried to rid my anger by sharing with Doctors, that did not work. So that is the way it is for me today. Please, keep your site active. Thank You! for caring and understanding.

I wanted to say thanks for bringing back some long time ago memories I had tucked away somewhere in my mind. One of the first times I can remember as a child was sitting with my father listening to What it was was football, by Andy Griffith. I can remember my father and how he enjoyed this routine so much. Being a child at the time I guess I didn't really understand all the humor in it, but hearing it again today on your web sight made me realize what was so funny to my father. I only wish he could have still been here to hear it again and hear his laughter. But the memories are good. THANK YOU SO MUCH !

The "REFLECTIONS OF GOD'S LOVE" is just an AWESOME composition. The writing certainly depicts how GOD's great love can be reflected in each of our lives, if we are willing to express it. The Canadian Geese are very beautiful birds. I live near a lake where they spend a few weeks coming from Canada, on their way South each year. We watch and wait for them to arrive, then as the weather begins to get colder, they leave-to return on their way back in the Spring. It's amazing how our Lord guides their pathways, just as HE does for those of us who love and obey HIM. God Bless You and enable you to keep up the inspirational writing.

I was sorry to see that this site is standing up for the Prisoner abuse at Abu Gharab. Some of those men who were humiliated by our soldiers were totally innocent. They had not done anything. They had not been found guilty of anything. We should not join the infidels by becoming the right hand of the devil. I am deeply disappointed. We should not be in that country at all. Preemptive war is not the American way and the dastardly deeds of the ignorant make it even worse. God help us.

Wow Bob, I have spent the last 45 mins on your site & have enjoyed it all. My cousin forwarded "The Marine" to me and I was blown away! I plan to bookmark your site so that I can come back again. As a Christian, there aren't that many sites that are suitable for viewing. Thank you for being some of the few. I plan on forwarding your site address to everyone I can. Thank you, Michelle

I just got this yesterday from my neighbor. I can click on anything, close my eyes and listen to the music. It thrills me! Praise God there is someone who cares about his fellow man's eternal destination.

Hi Bob, In my opinion you are right on point!! I support President Bush also and pray that he is re-elected, but will also support the elected president even if it's J. Kerry. I like your site. It is obvious you have put much work into it and enjoy doing so. I pray God's richest blessing on you and those that travel this path. :-)

These have been my sentiments since I was in the military. I served 14 years in the Army starting as a WAC. I am a Democrat and have almost always voted Democrat. However, I believe that if the fat men sitting behind desks, puffing their cigars had to actually use fisticuffs themselves we would never go to war. Too many young people, on ALL sides, lose life and limb for issue that cannot be solved or have no need to be solved. This is because we should all be allowed to worship (or not) as we see fit. No one should be forced to pretend to worship someone else's superior being.

I really enjoy this because my class and the 8th graders went to Washington D.C., Gettysburg, and Hershey Pennsylvania. We went there and saw them do this. I really enjoy how you did this. It was a great idea. Thank You Rebekah Mack
